Event Coordinator Opportunity

Craft unforgettable moments against Queensland's breathtaking coastline by spearheading events at a leading event destination. Our Events Coordinator will play a pivotal role in curating exceptional experiences, guiding clients from initial ideation to successful event conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal and external events, offering informed guidance on options and pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, ensuring seamless integration of all event elements.
  • Oversee invoicing and payment processes, maintaining meticulous records for regular reports.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and management, attending events as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Organize showcase events, hosting prospective clients for familiarization tours and site visits.
  • Conduct market research and respond to incoming business and repeat clients.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to seamlessly integrate logistics, entertainment, and more.
  • Manage and distribute event information, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Develop relationships with suppliers, overseeing theming, staging, AV, and entertainment.
  • Proactively upsell event components and ensure compliance with safety and event requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume events, demonstrating thorough understanding of the event lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work weekends during peak periods and attend events outside standard operating hours.
