Job Title: Event Planning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Event Planning Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, working on a broad range of functions for social, wedding, or small business events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating events across various outlets, including bars and restaurants. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administrative Tasks: Completing proposal and contract documents for bookings, processing financial transactions, and invoicing clients.
  • Event Coordination: Booking and coordinating special events, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and recording revenues in tracking systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional Qualifications: A current Queensland Certification in RSA, with a minimum 2 years experience working in Events, particularly in Sales and Operations within a multi-purpose venue.
  • Skill Requirements: Excellent customer service skills, negotiation skills, advanced time management skills, outstanding written/verbal communication skills, and advanced computer skills using Microsoft Suite.
