Community Rehabilitation Specialist

This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to offender rehabilitation and community safety.

  • We are seeking an individual with strong communication skills to collaborate with individuals under supervision, develop rehabilitative strategies, and monitor progress towards established goals.
  • The successful candidate will work in an office environment, interacting face-to-face with people under supervision, and have the ability to thrive in a challenging environment while applying cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between Community Corrections and local service providers, as well as the local Aboriginal community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A commitment to providing support and strengthening relationships between Community Corrections and local service providers, as well as the local Aboriginal community.
  • Experience in case management, along with high resilience, integrity, and a proactive, positive attitude.
