Offender Rehabilitation Specialist

This role involves working with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions.

You will be part of a dedicated team focused on offender rehabilitation and enhancing community safety. Your work will involve collaborating with local service providers to support the ongoing and sustainable provision of better service delivery and outcomes for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people we work with.

We focus on hiring people who have an understanding of the NSW criminal justice system, skills in case management and an understanding of the needs of Aboriginal people and their communities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to manage cases for individuals serving community-based orders.
  • Collaborating with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
