Support Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Support Services Specialist to join our team in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide.
About the Role- Provide support within the community, enabling individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Offer support with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and daily living skills.
- Encourage personal development, goal achievement, and tailored support for individual preferences and aspirations.
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Empathy, compassion, and emotional resilience, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Adaptability and patience, especially when responding to complex needs, behavioral challenges, or evolving care requirements.
- We prioritize your physical and mental wellbeing, offering wellbeing subsidies for gym memberships and Employee Assistance Programs for support.

- Authorised to work in Australia.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), disability, and community services sector.
- Certificate III Individual Support/Disability or studying towards the qualification will be highly regarded.
- Minimum 2-year industry experience.
- Able to navigate and adapt to change.
