Job Title:

Strategic Policy Advisor

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational advice to executive officers, including the Assistant Director-General (DI&SS) and Deputy Director-General (Schools and Student Support). They will manage processes for ministerial and executive advice, as well as coordinate and prepare documentation on behalf of executive officers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational advice to executive officers;

  • Coordinate and prepare documentation on behalf of executive officers;
  • Analyse and assess strategic policy initiatives;
  • Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and critically analyse research;
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships;
  • Ability to work as part of a high functioning team;
