Energy Policy Strategist

Job Description:
">The position of Energy Policy Strategist is focused on operating within the Distribution, Consumer and Innovation Branch of the Energy Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex energy policy projects/programs.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Develop and execute strategic plans to promote an accountable, fair and safe work environment
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality results
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice and analysis on policy matters
- Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on behalf of senior management
- Manage project delivery through scoping, planning, resource allocation and methodology development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">Experience in energy policy development, network regulation or national market reforms is highly regarded. Additionally, experience in economic and financial modelling, particularly in the energy sector, would be beneficial.
