Education System Specialist

We are seeking a professional to improve educational outcomes and well-being for Aboriginal children and young students.
The successful candidate will facilitate communication, provide support to schools and advocate for culturally responsive practices within the education system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing engagement strategies to enhance attendance, wellbeing, and participation in school
- Advocating for student needs and building strong partnerships with schools, families, and community
- Providing support to schools to improve their understanding and responsiveness to Aboriginal cultures and histories
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A commitment to values that underpin our vision and purpose
- Related tertiary qualifications in Education, Community Services, teaching and/or relevant work experience of two to three years in this role
- A high level of awareness of challenges or barriers within the education system and a willingness to continually build knowledge of Aboriginal societies and cultures
