Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Trades Assistant to join our team for our major mining construction projects at the Tanami Mine in the Northern Territory or the Carrapateena Mine in South Australia.

As a Logistics Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for using your sound planning and organizational skills to get the job done, utilizing your experience and knowledge to do the best work possible, and taking pride in the work you do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and organization of logistics and transportation of materials and equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment, use various hand tools, and conduct general maintenance
  • Operate telehandler equipment and forklifts to safely lift, transport, and position materials
  • Assist in the operation of EWP's 11m and above
  • Coordinate safe crane operations
Requirements
  • Experience in a mining, construction, and operations environment
  • Valid MR/HR Drivers' Licence
  • Valid Forklift and Dogman HRWL
  • Telehandling Ticket
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform tickets
  • Construction Card
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and undergo a pre-employment medical
