Competition and Regulatory Law Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing regulatory and competition law advice and support across a range of businesses.

As a specialist in this field, you will support the team in managing timelines, tracking information/data, internal and external communications, research, knowhow management and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support to the Competition & Regulatory team.
  • Assist with Sky's responses to information requests and consultations from regulators.
  • Act as the primary interface with commercial partners for gathering and reviewing information/data.
  • Manage timelines, trackers and reporting.
  • Internal and external communications.
  • Assist with competition and regulatory litigation, investigations and clearances.
  • Cary out legal research.
  • Contribute to the team's knowhow management activities.
  • Assist with the team's competition law compliance activities.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience in an established law firm, in-house legal team or regulator.
  • Strong project management, delivery and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with others in the team, the wider business and externally.
  • Appetite for learning and expanding your skills across a broad range of issues.
  • Enthusiasm for Sky's business, good commercial awareness and a keen interest in new technology.
  • Ability to progress matters alone, whilst knowing when to consult or seek guidance.
