Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional to join our team as a Specialist. This role will be based in Mole Creek, Tasmania, and will involve working with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and auditing quality management systems, as well as a strong understanding of relevant regulations and acts. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving improvements in health, safety, and environmental practices, and ensuring that all employees and contractors are trained and aware of their responsibilities. You will also oversee the implementation and certification of our Quality Management System to ISO 9001.

A key focus area for this role will be to investigate and report on safety and environmental incidents, and to develop recommendations for prevention and reoccurrence. You will also be responsible for conducting environmental sampling, reviewing results, and reporting on site compliance to regulatory and environmental license conditions.
