About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales cycles to closure in a direct and overlay sales role, working with the most promising customers and partners, scaling tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field, and gathering critical regional feedback to inform our product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
  • Become a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
  • Develop and deploy GTM programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product, GTM and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plan.
  • Own the strategy and execution for Accelerated Compute sales in ANZ, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
About the Team

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in High Performance Computing, AI/ML, Math, Quantum Information Systems and Technologies, or similar accelerated computing technologies.
