Account Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Account Portfolio Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage early arrears portfolios from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer accounts.
- Negotiate suitable repayment arrangements with customers in financial distress, in line with our credit policy.
- Monitor financial hardship cases, variations, bankruptcies, and defaults register to identify areas for improvement.
- Respond promptly to inbound queries from customers regarding collections.
- Follow up on broken payment arrangements and renegotiate new agreements to prevent further delays.
- Provide customers with solutions to their queries, focusing on empathetic and effective communication.
- Educate delinquent customers on prevention strategies to avoid future arrears.
- Process and manage incoming cheques efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and understand new ideas and concepts quickly. Outcome-focused individuals with excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and a problem-solving mindset are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 12 months experience in an office or customer service environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and understand new ideas and concepts quickly.
