Key Role: Corporate Recovery Specialist

The role of Corporate Recovery Specialist involves providing support to the turnaround and restructuring practice in delivering client services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of advisory engagements including financial restructuring, debt advisory, strategic advice, M&A, special situations transactions, and safe harbour under senior team member guidance.
  • Pursue formal restructuring matters, working closely with clients on voluntary administrations, receiverships, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist with sales process in insolvency settings, preparing reports for clients and relevant bodies.
  • Pitch for transaction and restructuring opportunities.
Essential Qualifications / Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to create complex financial models as required by project.
  • Advanced written communication skills, strong report writing abilities.
  • Understanding of corporate recovery, restructuring, accounting principles, statutory regulations, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in corporate recovery and insolvency matters, including formal appointments.
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business with major in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Completed or near completion of CA/CFA certification.
