Job Description

You will provide early childhood intervention services to support children with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Plan and coordinate supports with the child and family that reflect strengths-based and family-centered approaches.
  • Solution Focused Support: Deliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilising a transdisciplinary key worker approach.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess and communicate the child's development and ongoing progress.
  • Facilitation and Advocacy: Facilitate a team around the child that promotes participation in family, community, and cultural activities.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families and internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication with children, families, and professionals is essential for success in this role.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Ability to understand and manage your own emotions, as well as empathise with others.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing situations and priorities.
