Key Worker

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Key Worker. This role will involve delivering interventions to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0-8, and their families. The successful candidate will be able to provide therapy in diverse settings and work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. You will be working with a dynamic and dedicated team of professionals who share your commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

  • You will be responsible for delivering individualized therapy sessions to children and their families, using your skills and expertise to identify and address their needs.
  • You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • You will be required to maintain accurate records and documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and billing information.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as an occupational therapy degree or a bachelor's degree in special education.
  • Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or SPA (Speech Pathology Australia).
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children aged 0-8 and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
