As an Intervention Specialist at our organisation, you will deliver interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families that lead to positive, life-changing outcomes.

  • You will work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centres.
  • You will attend initial appointments with families, utilizing your assessment and communication skills to get to know them, their child, and goals.
  • You will work collaboratively with educators and therapists to support children to develop their motor, communication, and social skills.
  • You will build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
  • You will document and bill for each session through our online participant management system.

The role requires a relevant tertiary qualification and registration, as well as minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families, demonstrated experience working with children with disability, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality interventions to NDIS participants and their families.
  • Build strong relationships with participants and their supports.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and therapists to support children's development.

Requirements:
