Key Worker Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

  • We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Key Workers. As a Key Worker, you will be working with children aged 0-8 and their families to deliver interventions that lead to positive outcomes.
  • You will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualised plans that cater to the unique needs of each child and family.
  • As a Key Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, community centres, and playgrounds.
  • You will attend initial appointments at families' homes to assess and communicate with them, their child, and goals.
  • You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support children's development and wellbeing.
  • You will build meaningful relationships with participants, families, carers, and friends.
  • You will document and bill for sessions through our online participant management system.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and be a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • A valid Australian drivers license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
  • Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments.
