Job Title: Domestic and Family Violence Clinical Lead
Job OverviewThis is a new clinical leadership role within the prevention and response to violence, abuse and neglect domestic and family violence service.
The role offers flexible work practices, enabling professionals to provide high-quality integrated, trauma-informed and violence-informed responses to victims/survivors of domestic and family violence.
Main Responsibilities- Provide professional and clinical leadership for the domestic and family violence service in conjunction with the DFV manager, while maintaining a clinical load.
- Apply and share expert knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance the capacity of the health workforce in providing high-quality integrated, trauma-informed and violence-informed responses to victims/survivors of domestic and family violence.
- Identify opportunities and lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and research.
- Tertiary qualifications in social work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and postgraduate experience at a minimum of level 2 or above.
- Demonstrated extensive postgraduate experience in assessment, crisis intervention, client-centred advocacy, case management, safety planning and trauma-informed counselling interventions to adults who have experienced domestic violence and other forms of violence, abuse and neglect.
