The position of Family Violence Support Worker is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of men impacted by family violence.
This role involves overseeing operations across three primary locations, providing court support and case work assistance to those affected, and assessing male clients for the program and providing high-quality case work support.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage operations across multiple locations
- Provide support and assistance to men impacted by family violence
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for men who have experienced family violence
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or Humanities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proof of Aboriginal status
- Valid working with children's check and police check
- Current NSW drivers' licence
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
