Job Title: Violence Prevention Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Violence Prevention Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide vital support services to individuals experiencing domestic and family violence.
Your primary focus will be on delivering intensive, tailored support to victim-survivors, addressing high-risk situations and ensuring their safety. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide holistic care, connecting individuals with specialist services and promoting long-term recovery and stability.
About the Role- Deliver structured case management and goal setting to support victim-survivors
- Conduct complex risk assessments and develop effective safety plans
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to coordinate specialist services
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
- Registration with AHPRA or relevant peak body
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Check and National Police Check
- Verification of right to work in Australia
- Three years of experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and trauma-informed support for FDSV
