About This Role

Help shape the provision of spiritual care services to residents, families and staff at a residential aged care facility.

You will be part of an integrated team working within a framework that supports residents to live their best lives.

  • Provide spiritual care support to residents according to priority needs
  • As required, provide spiritual care support to residents' family members and staff
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders

About You

You are a professional practitioner seeking to uphold the dignity of people living in residential aged care.

  • A tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction or counselling is essential
  • Clinical Pastoral Education and/or recent experience working in a similar role is preferred
  • Established skills in preparation, creation and facilitation of meaningful rituals are required
  • Eligibility for certified membership is necessary

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
