Homeless Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of House Coordinator at our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for young women experiencing homelessness.
You will ensure that they have the physical and psychological space to enact positive change in their lives. As the House Coordinator, you will take on a leadership role within the Counterpoint Young Women's Refuge.
The program offers short-term accommodation for a minimum of 6-8 weeks with the goal of sustainable housing upon exit. The successful candidate will work closely with young people from diverse backgrounds and require strong leadership and organizational skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong working knowledge of the youth homelessness sector
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality care and autonomy for clients
- Experience in housing, community services, and youth mental health
- Salary starting at $110,000 at full time
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card
- SCHCADS award level 6
- Negotiable through increments dependent on experience
- Full-time, permanent position
