
Workforce Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Workforce Support Specialist to connect workers with local community programs, providing them with access to necessary support and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Access to Community Programs: Collaborate with workers to navigate local community resources and ensure they receive the assistance required.
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop rapport with workers to understand their unique situations and needs.
- Collaborate with Claims Teams: Work strategically with claims teams to integrate community support seamlessly into the claims process.
- Provide Face-to-Face Support: Attend medical case conferences to offer direct support and address worker needs.
- Maintain Professionalism: Ensure professional interaction with internal and external customers at all times.
- Person-Centered Claims Management: Employ a person-centered approach, focusing on understanding and addressing individual worker needs.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in working with local community programs, government-funded initiatives, and charity supports to assist workers overcoming barriers
- Proven working experience in social work or community engagement roles
- Allied Health or Social Work qualifications
- High-level interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Effective communication skills, excellent organisational, and time management skills
- Understanding of how current affairs impact employers and their workforce
- Able to work independently to achieve goals
- Comfortable leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
