About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Workforce Support Specialist to connect workers with local community programs, providing them with access to necessary support and resources.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Access to Community Programs: Collaborate with workers to navigate local community resources and ensure they receive the assistance required.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop rapport with workers to understand their unique situations and needs.
  • Collaborate with Claims Teams: Work strategically with claims teams to integrate community support seamlessly into the claims process.
  • Provide Face-to-Face Support: Attend medical case conferences to offer direct support and address worker needs.
  • Maintain Professionalism: Ensure professional interaction with internal and external customers at all times.
  • Person-Centered Claims Management: Employ a person-centered approach, focusing on understanding and addressing individual worker needs.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in working with local community programs, government-funded initiatives, and charity supports to assist workers overcoming barriers
  • Proven working experience in social work or community engagement roles
  • Allied Health or Social Work qualifications
  • High-level interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Effective communication skills, excellent organisational, and time management skills
  • Understanding of how current affairs impact employers and their workforce
  • Able to work independently to achieve goals
  • Comfortable leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
