Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator Opportunity

As a Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products that make a difference globally.

Job Description

Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods. Oversee the goods receipt process, liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.

Manage the pick, pack, and dispatch of orders, ensuring correct documentation and compliance with import/export regulations. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock takes, and manage expiring stock.

Handle logistics for hazardous and dangerous goods, ensuring correct packaging and documentation. Collaborate with 3rd Party Logistics providers to manage inventory and product deliveries.

Maintain SAP data integrity for logistics operations and complete month-end close processes.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain management, or significant relevant industry experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within manufacturing or research laboratories.
  • Experience in inventory management, including working with 3rd Party Logistics service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound material flow, transport logistics, and import/export processes.
  • Experience in handling hazardous and dangerous goods.
  • Forklift License and Dangerous Goods Certification are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a customer-centric approach.
