Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Flow Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing retail inventory flow and creating store-specific distribution strategies to maximize store sales and SKU productivity within Factory Outlet channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute store assortments, taking into account factors such as store size, climate, seasonality, and capacity.
  • Analyze and monitor article performance, store sales, and inventory levels on a weekly basis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide quantitative analysis to support planning, buying, and store planning decisions.
  • Manage store-to-store consoles to optimize productivity and sales.
  • Ensure all product is tracked and shipped in compliance with product launch dates and new store opening dates.
  • Consistently manage and update store capacity models across FO stores.
  • Evaluate adjustments to plans and allocations for performance trends and inventory levels.
  • Create and maintain smooth product flows by developing outbound flow from the DC on specific timelines.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and communicate size and location-based performance, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality, and marketing impacts.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of retail math and excel.
  • Advanced Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.
  • Familiarity with accessing data from a database structure.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and use financial data, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, gross margin, net sales, etc., to make decisions and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Think strategically, synthesize data, identify trends, and recommend viable solutions.
