Job Title: Principal Tailings Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and contributing to innovative and challenging projects related to mine tailings and water dam sectors, working closely with the project team to deliver high-quality results.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in tailings dam design, geotechnical analyses, and instrumentation monitoring systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Tailings Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, as well as excellent writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and contribute to innovative and challenging projects related to mine tailings and water dam sectors;
  • Develop and manage instrumentation monitoring systems;
  • Conduct geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
  • Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
  • Collaborate with the project team to deliver high-quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field (required);
  • Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field (preferred);
  • Professional registration (preferred but not essential);
  • Engineer of Record (EoR) (required).
