Job Title

About the Position

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee a key operational and technical capability team within a Crime Command portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a multi-disciplinary team that develops and operates bespoke digital surveillance capabilities.
  • Apply technical knowledge to provide innovative solutions to real-time operational problems.
  • Be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to function in high-tempo operational environments.
  • Work at the cutting edge of Law Enforcement technology to support the highest priority investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in an information/communications/technology related field or extensive demonstrated technical equivalent skills.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Contemporary knowledge of legislation, including the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 and the Surveillance Devices Act 2004.
Benefits

This role attracts a composite allowance in recognition of expanded working hours, normal patterns of attendance, and shift patterns. In accordance with the organizational Enterprise Agreement, an employee who is required to work in accordance with the Operations working pattern will receive a Core Composite of 22% in addition to their base salary.
