About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Digital Surveillance Operations Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a geographically diverse and multidisciplinary team in delivering operational support to all AFP commands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to ensure operational support is delivered and priorities align with strategic organisational outcomes.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of criminal investigation practices & procedures, intelligence processes, the capabilities of CTO and the wider AFP technical centres and collections.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and future direction of the ESAT capability by identifying and leading various project work, innovation efforts, and improving customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse and geographically dispersed team, deliver specialist support capabilities including mentoring and developing team members.
