Lead a Team in Digital Surveillance

The Australian Federal Police is seeking a skilled leader to head a multi-disciplinary team responsible for developing and operating bespoke digital surveillance capabilities.

This ongoing full-time position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of law enforcement technology, supporting high-priority investigations and contributing to the prevention and detection of crimes against the Commonwealth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply expertise to provide innovative solutions to real-time operational problems.
  • Communicate effectively in high-tempo environments and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Occasional shift work and domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge surveillance capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Be an Australian Citizen at time of application.
  • Maintain an NV1 security clearance.
  • Hold formal tertiary qualifications in an information/communications/technology related field or demonstrate equivalent technical skills.
  • Display excellent management and leadership abilities.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
