Job Overview

The Role of HR Business Partner plays a pivotal part in fostering a high-performance, engaged culture across our workforce. This position requires working closely with leaders to provide expert HR advice, drive talent strategies, and implement people initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle.


About the Job
  • You will partner with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic people initiatives, embedding yourself within these groups.
  • A trusted advisor for managers and leaders, you will develop a deep understanding of ways of working, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Complex ER/IR matters, including grievances, investigations, performance management, and terminations, require your expertise to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, empathy, and fairness.
  • You will drive talent initiatives, from succession planning to career pathways & leadership coaching, promoting a high-performance culture through smart HR policies and practices.
  • Data and insights inform your strategic HR decisions, providing thought leadership by taking initiative on complex problem-solving and offering ideas, recommendations, frameworks, and structured planning.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven HR experience of 5+ years with a qualification in FMCG and/or retail background is highly desirable.
  • You should have a sound understanding and current knowledge of employment law and Awards.
  • Experience in an organisation with a large casual workforce is essential.
  • You are a skilled influencer with excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven, solutions-focused, and proactive in approach.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, resilient, and curious.
  • Highly organised, results-driven, and passionate about people.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment across multiple stakeholder groups.
