Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment, including overhead cranes, side loaders, and chassis stackers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment
  • Identify and diagnose problems with equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty components
  • Clean and organize work area

You will work closely with other mechanics and technicians to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. This is a challenging and rewarding role for someone who is passionate about heavy equipment and has excellent mechanical skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with heavy equipment maintenance (Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry)
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
