Job Description:

The Service Manager will be responsible for managing a large service department, directing a team of staff including tradespeople and coordinators. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, managing, and holding responsibility over the service department
  • Directly managing a team of staff, promoting a positive work environment
  • Scheduling and liaising with technicians to attend field service calls
  • Ensuring a high standard of workmanship is upheld
  • Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new recruits
  • Dealing directly with clients and managing escalated issues

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and meet management expectations. A background working within a dealership environment and technical experience with machinery are highly desirable.
