We are currently hiring for the position of Mechanic responsible for repairing and maintaining overhead cranes, side loaders and chassis stackers.
This role is essential to the daily operations of our terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and emergency maintenance tasks, including identifying problems, performing inspections, doing maintenance work, ordering, and replacing parts, running computerized tests, estimating repair costs, updating repair records, and writing technical reports.
Key responsibilities include following a checklist of inspection procedures, repairing and maintaining equipment, performing diagnostics and repair service for equipment component failures, removing and replacing damaged or defective components, and operating support equipment including forklifts, man lifts and service trucks.

Qualifications for this role include being at least 18 years of age, having open availability (24/7/365) available to work nights, weekends, and holidays that fall on your rotation, willingness to work in varying weather conditions, a valid driver's license, experience with maintaining heavy equipment in either the Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry, and other duties as assigned.
Physical job requirements include frequent standing, walking, balancing while walking on elevated catwalks, bending, and grasping, occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, lifting and the ability to lift.
