Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide safe and compassionate care to adult patients undergoing treatment for oncological and haematological conditions. The Oncology Day Unit operates Monday to Friday, delivering outpatient care in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Consultants, a Nurse Practitioner, a McGrath Cancer Nurse, and Oncology Educators. As part of this team, you will ensure that patients and their families receive excellent support throughout their treatment journey.
Requirements:
- Accredited in cannulation is highly desirable.
- A proactive and compassionate nurse with a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
- A team player who enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Able to adapt in a busy clinical setting while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Motivated to learn and build expertise in oncology and haematology nursing.
- Relevant experience in acute care nursing, particularly in oncology or haematology.
