Cancer Care Specialist

As a skilled Oncology Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to adult patients undergoing treatment for oncological and haematological conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-built cancer centre serving the northern half of Hunter New England. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a range of oncology and haematology services in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in oncology nursing while contributing to the well-being of our patients and their families.
About the Position- 8-chair, 1-bed unit operating Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)
- Closely collaborate with Clinical Nurse Consultants, a Nurse Practitioner, a McGrath Cancer Nurse, and Oncology Educators
- Supernumerary shifts at commencement will support your transition into the role, and ongoing oncology-specific training will be provided
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in oncology nursing (or working towards)
