Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse Oncology

Seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Day Unit at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cancer centre, providing high-quality care to adult patients undergoing treatment for oncological and haematological conditions.

As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver safe and effective patient care. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Clinical Nurse Consultants, a Nurse Practitioner, a McGrath Cancer Nurse, and Oncology Educators.

About The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing safe and compassionate care to adult patients undergoing treatment for oncological and haematological conditions.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participating in ongoing oncology-specific training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in oncology nursing (or working towards).
