Business Process Excellence Lead

The role of the Business Process Excellence Lead is to spearhead the development and implementation of business process management and improvement methodologies within an organisation.

This involves working closely with stakeholders to design, develop and operationalise business processes that drive efficiency, effectiveness and excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Application of project management methodologies to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Detailed scoping and development of project management plans, including setting clear objectives and milestones.
  • Securing resources and partners to support delivery, as well as establishing and managing relevant steering committees and working groups.
  • Management of the agreed work schedule, ensuring allocation of activities and setting milestone targets.
  • Effective use of available resources, identification of strategic and operational risks and implementation of mitigation actions.
  • Preparation and presentation of progress reports at regular intervals to various stakeholders.
  • Representation of the organisation in leading business process excellence service offerings and associated projects.
  • Provision of high-level professional specialist services, such as business process excellence advice, analysis of systems, processes and information, and mentoring capability.
