Job Summary:

The Systems Development Officer plays a pivotal role in the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small Business. This position provides critical support and improvement of services and delivery of specialized projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer guidance and support to the team in identifying dependencies, incidents, and constraints, and improving Infrastructure and Technical Operations Services.
  • Monitor the job and service request system to ensure ongoing service delivery to Digital Customers and call centre users.
  • Manage Technical Operations resources, equipment, and devices by monitoring asset management and maintenance.
  • Analyse data and statistics for business reports and provide options and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate technological trends impacting business requirements and service delivery.
  • Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, negotiate supply issues, and escalate performance issues.
  • Develop personal professional skills and contribute to others' development.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and perform System Administration of Windows Active Directory.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in infrastructure and technical operations.
