Community Playgroup Facilitator

Are you passionate about working with children and families in a community setting? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Playgroup Facilitator to join our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our community programs team to deliver high-quality playgroups and support services to families. You will build strong relationships with children and families, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement playgroup programs that meet the needs of diverse families
  • Provide modelling and support around early childhood development, including the EYLF
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and effective service delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with families, including those from diverse backgrounds
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote child safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the ECEC sector and the EYLF
  • Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
