Community Playgroup Facilitator

Are you passionate about supporting families and children in your community? Do you have a strong background in early childhood education and a desire to make a positive impact?

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Playgroup Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our Community Programs team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality playgroups and other supports to families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with children and families to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver playgroups and other programs that meet the needs of families
  • Model effective early childhood practice and provide support and guidance to families
  • Develop and implement programs that promote early childhood development and learning
  • Work closely with families to identify and respond to their needs and concerns

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and other relevant policies and procedures
  • Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
