Lead Assurance Transformation Specialist

Our organisation requires a highly skilled assurance specialist to drive transformation and uplift in our risk management processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for redefining quality standards, developing methodologies, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Redefine the quality standards of second-line risk assurance across multiple domains in line with regulatory changes and evolving risk practices.
  • Re-engineer assurance processes, lead the development of new methodologies, training, and quality frameworks.
  • Coordinate annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives, including analytics and automation strategies.
  • Perform independent reviews and evaluations to challenge the status quo.
  • Maintain updates to the Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable across the organisation to ensure responsibilities are exercised in enhancing risk frameworks and rolling out initiatives.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in financial services, including assurance, risk, compliance, quality assurance, practice management, or project management backgrounds.
  • Ability to standardise and optimise controls effectively and efficiently.
  • Outstanding project coordination skills to successfully plan, implement, and drive change and transformation in a complex organisational architecture.
  • Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage a team.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA are desirable.
  • Technical skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and automation are advantageous.
