Job Title: Senior Manager, Assurance Standards

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • As a 'Risk Transformation Pioneer', you will redefine the quality standards of 2nd Line Risk Assurance across various domains.
  • You will lead the development of methodologies, training, and quality frameworks to re-engineer 2nd Line Risk Assurance processes.
  • Acting as a 'Project Manager', you will lead annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives, such as Analytics & Automation strategies.
  • You will perform independent reviews and evaluations along the 'change' process, continuously challenging the status quo.
  • Maintain updates to Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual, ensuring tools and methods are fit for purpose.
  • Holding accountable for stakeholder relationships across the 3 lines of defence up to Head-of level, ensuring all parties exercise their responsibility in enhancing risk frameworks and rolling out.
  • Continuously identify trends and common practices adopted by peer industry players.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Services (assurance, risk & compliance, quality assurance, practice management, process optimisation, project management backgrounds).
  • Demonstrable ability to standardise and optimise controls effectively and efficiently.
  • Outstanding project coordination skills to successfully plan, roll out and drive change & transformation in a Tier-1 financial institution with complex architecture.
  • Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage your own team.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable (e.g. CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA).
  • Technical aptitudes in data analytics, business intelligence, automation are advantageous.
