About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Claims Portfolio Advocate to join our team in Sydney. As our primary contact for client and insurance claims, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims from initiation to resolution. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring claims are managed within agreed timelines.



Main Responsibilities

  • Advocate on complex Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance matters, providing strategic advice and front-end guidance on coverage and liability issues.
  • Monitor regulatory and case law developments, producing client advisory white papers to inform decision-making.
  • Provide policy advice and drafting, including manuscript endorsements and policy forms to address key client exposures.
  • Review insurer claims behavior, delivering insights to benefit Aon clients.
  • Participate in business development opportunities, including policy wording health-checks and technical commentary in tenders.


What We're Looking For

We seek a candidate with a strong customer service focus, commercial claims experience, and a working knowledge of Financial Lines. You should be able to take on additional responsibilities, apply project management approaches, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary range for this role is approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
