Job Overview
As a key member of the Aon team, we are seeking an experienced Technical and Claims Advocate to join our Financial Services Group.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client and insurance claims, ensuring they are resolved within agreed timelines and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients and insurers, providing advocacy on complex Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance matters.
Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client and insurance claims, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Provide advocacy on complex Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance matters, including strategy and front-end advice on coverage and liability issues.
- Monitor and review regulatory and case law developments, producing client advisory white papers as needed.
- Provide policy advice and drafting, including policy comparisons and manuscript policy endorsements/policy forms to address key client exposures.
- Review and advise on insurer claims behavior, delivering insights to benefit Aon clients.
- Participate in business development opportunities, including policy wording health-checks and technical and claims commentary in tenders.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong customer service focus and commercial claims experience.
- A strong working knowledge of Financial Lines and experience in managing complex claims.
- Ability to work and positively contribute as a member of the team.
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Outcome-focused, able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
