EML (Employers Mutual Limited) is a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business, operating in the hospitality industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Claims Advocate to join our team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will have experience in customer service/retail/hospitality, with a passion for helping people. They will be empathetic, resilient, and motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills are also essential.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000-$100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:
We provide full training, so no previous experience in case management is required. However, experience in allied health or rehabilitation support would be highly advantageous. As a Claims Advocate, you will work with a portfolio of physical and psychological claims, liaising with multiple stakeholders to manage the end-to-end claims process. This may include determining claim liability, managing treatment, processing payments, attending case conferences, and implementing recovery and return to work outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist injured individuals and employers with the workers compensation claim process and provide support in completing relevant documents.
- Make timely contact with injured individuals to ensure access to required services.
- Proactively manage the claims process to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for workers who have experienced a workplace injury or illness.
- Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on matters such as injured workers, employers, and providers.
