Recreational Activities Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Recreational Activities Officer. As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote social interaction, recreational activities, and independence among our residents.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure holistic care plans
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and carers to understand their needs and preferences

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Previous experience within an aged care setting
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
