Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to facilitate positive health and wellbeing options for individuals, their families, and carers in our aged care setting.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into social, recreational, and cultural activities. You will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs which empower our resident's choices and independence.

Your role will involve assessing and documenting the effectiveness of the programs, tracking residents' progress and adjusting the programs as needed.

You will work collaboratively with other teams to achieve program objectives, maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Essential Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desired)
  • Previous experience within an aged care setting
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, internet/intranet skills, email communication, and confidence with smart phones and digital devices
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety

  • Vaccinated in accordance with immunisation policy
  • National Criminal History Check
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
