Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Business Development Manager to drive growth within our cloud business. This role is responsible for delivering customer-centric solutions, developing strategies to drive customer transformation, and improving margins and rebates.

The Role
  • Manage a dedicated team to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Develop strategies that drive customer transformation and improved margins and rebates
  • Create a business plan to grow profit across licensing and services
  • Identify leads via marketing and data analysis
  • Maximise leads as provided by Microsoft
  • Generate sales of cloud services and associated products
  • Develop a Microsoft cloud business plan to achieve growth targets
  • Complete sales enablement for relevant staff
  • Maximise Microsoft Rebates from funding programs
  • Drive adoption of cloud centric workshops across the customer base
  • Drive cross sell and upsell opportunities within cloud
  • Act as a Customer Success Manager with services attached to cloud
  • Develop relationships with key divisions for the success of services bundled with cloud
  • Work with internal teams to ensure operational excellence around onboarding and invoicing
  • Develop relationships with Microsoft and other relevant vendors, distributors and partners for the successful provision of cloud services
  • Contribute to the overall success of strategy
Requirements
  • Proven Microsoft knowledge and expertise
  • Strong business acumen
  • People Leadership experience
  • Sales experience with a proven methodology
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud services
