About the Role
In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for business areas, implementing company policies and initiatives to enhance H&S risk management and safety leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a workplace HSE culture characterized by risk-based systems and proactive behaviors.
- Coordinating and implementing HSE projects, programs, and initiatives within assigned business areas.
- Providing professional advice, coaching, and guidance on HSE policies, processes, and issues.
- Supporting the interpretation and adoption of HSE legislation and assisting with safety regulatory requirements.
- Coaching leaders to advocate for a positive and resilient safety culture.
About You
We are seeking an individual with experience in large, high-risk industrial organizations, preferably in utilities, services, infrastructure, or related sectors.
Key qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience in implementing risk-based HSE systems and assurance programs.
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders to embed a mature safety culture.
- Expert knowledge of Australian HSE legislative frameworks, including incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- ICAM training or qualifications.
- Exceptional risk management skills, including AS4801 familiarity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for clear, concise, and accurate HSE reporting.
